More screens are waiting for you to watch “Sahara Wonderland“. At the 1000 days for the planet exhibition presented by Radio Canada who finally opend its doors in Montreal, Canada. After the two official launching ceremonies. One with the dignitaries: the mayor of Montreal, the Rector of the University of Montreal and many more. The other one with many inspiring personnalities operating in the environmental field in Canada. One of the films of the exhibition “biodiversity” was also presented at the Rio+20 summit in June.
Now a great adventure is underway at Space for Life! 1000 Days for the Planet/Base Camp welcomes the visitor to a captivating, unique and extraordinary experience at the heart of our planet’s biodiversity. For three years, the Base Camp of the 1000 Days for the Planet mission will be in touch with Jean Lemire and the Sedna IV crew as they sail around the world to report on the status of biodiversity, educate us about the work of passionate researchers who want to save biodiversity and incite us to take part in the action ourselves by becoming ambassadors of biodiversity. For the exhibition space, signed by the creative collective Vous êtes ici, artists were asked to incorporate their unique and personal perspective into its works and furniture.
